I figure I have about three months. Three months before my little boy start the long winding road to becoming a man. Yes, he only 5. Yes, I am making more of this than I should. He went to the dentist today. The dentist told him that he had a couple loose teeth and that it wouldn’t be long before we’d have to play tooth fairy. See, losing your first tooth is your first right of passage. You’re less of a child by just a little bit. Your ADULT teeth are coming in. His first step. His first words. Losing his first tooth. Riding a bike. And the rest, as they say, gets away from you. In the blink of an eye.
